Toni Jimenez

Toni Barcenas Operations Manager

Although Toni is originally from Florida, she has spent a few years living in Texas. Toni completed her LVT program in Texas. She was introduced to the Animalife family in 2015 when she completed her externship at Animalife at Pine Ridge and Animalife at Mission Hills. She moved back to Florida in 2018 and became the operations manager at Animalife at Mission Hills. She left for a short time to work at the Houston SPCA. Toni then realized that she missed the Florida sun and returned to our family in 2019 as the office manager.

You will find Toni outdoors spending time with her family when she is not at Animalife. She mostly enjoys being at the beach or riding motorcycles. She shares her home with a chiweenie named Onyx.

Jenny Veterinary Nurse

Jenny has always loved animals and deeply enjoys getting to interact with them every day as well as help their people, too. She loves to see people smile, so she always tries to make everyone who walks in smile! In fact, she considers helping people and their pets the most rewarding part of her job. When she is not at work, she enjoys reading, going to the beach, and cooking. Her greatest life achievement so far has been traveling the world, living in different countries, and sharing God’s love with everyone she meets. Most recently, Jenny has began showing interest in the Veterinary medicine side of this field and may be transitioning to the nursing area in the near future.

stacey

Stacey Veterinary Nurse

Stacey began her career in the veterinary field working as a caretaker for over 300 animals at the Animal Refuge Center. She fell in love with the medical side of animal care and decided to pursue an entry-level position at an animal clinic, which is where she received her training. From there, she began her journey with exotic medicine and worked as an exotics-only technician. Stacey has had a passion for animal care since she was very small. Having worked in this field now for several years, there is no doubt in her mind that this is what she's meant to do. For her, one of the most fulfilling aspects of her job is being able to make pets happy and healthy all while building a relationship with them and their owners. While she enjoys working with animals of all kinds, exotics (especially reptiles) hold a very special place in her heart.

Stacey and her fiance Joseph share their home with 5 dogs (Sadie and Pig the Pit Bulls and Stella, Annie, and Zoey the Chihuahuas), 2 geckos, and 3 snakes, but are always adding more to their menagerie. In her free time, Stacey enjoys being with her animals, going to the shooting range, visiting reptile expos with her fiance, and painting pet portraits.
